The topic explored India’s quest to be an economic super power and the reasons for its mixed success. Principal Professor John Zachariah delivered the Introductory Address. At the event, the Gen K S Thimayya Medal was presented to Old Boy, Mr. H.M. Spratt, IPS (former DGP, Haryana). Several eminent alumni and veterans from the armed forces were in attendance, including the patrons of the Trust, Admiral V S Shekhawat and Air Marshal Trevor Osman. Students of the Boys’ and Girls’ Schools too participated with vigour. The MEG band was in attendance.
