10th Memorial Lecture on 22 Nov. Lieutenant General Kotheneth Surendranath, AVSM**, SM, VSM is a Sword-of-Honour winner from the IMA and was commissioned to the 71 Armoured Regiment in 1975. A post-graduate in Global Security from Cranfield University, UK, he has commanded the elite Trishakti Corps at Sukna and the Tiger Division in Jammu. Apart from his Sena Medal, he was awarded the Vishisht Seva Medal in 2009, the Ati Vishisht Seva Medal in 2011, a Bar to his Ati Vishisht Seva Medal in 2013 and a second Bar in 2014.
